Yeah I missed yesterday's post but basically it would have been as follows;
Wha? There's snow on the ground, seriously!?! Wasn't it 62 yesterday? Yeah sure it's pretty but this is getting kinda rediculous.
So now I know the difference between a National Monument and a National Park. One may be designated by the executive for the safety of preserving places of historic or scientific value to the nation, Monuments, and the other must be designated a place of respite by the legislature. Thanks Ken Burns and PBS!
Finally, much Schadenfreude in the chickenhawks loss, sorry, but that's the nature of the rivalry. Probably busted a great deal of brackets (truth be told mine as well) but we'll take it. Way to go Northern Iowa all of Columbia were Panther fans yesterday.
