Opening Day!

So this weekend we finally got to hit the "slowdown" button and boy did we take advantage of that.

Saturday didn't do much just kinda chilled out, bought some new tennis shoes (woo hoo), watched the rain, caught up on the Netflix, and hosted my brothers and friends to dinner on their way back to St. Louis from a ski trip in Denver...in case they're reading this, could you have been any later? Anyway it was nice to get some stuff done around the house but would have liked to get to the MU vs. KU baseball game but the rain had different ideas.

Sunday more of the same really, got up had breakfast, went to church and then afterwards caught the MU vs KU game in which the Tigers busted out to an 8 run lead then blew the 8 run lead only to hit a dramatic 2 run homer in the bottom of the night to beat the Jayhawks. It was definately sweet although I have to admit I was getting really nervous due to the Tigers inability to close the deal (see football, basketball and almost any other sport) but they pulled it out. The Cardinals...not so much but hey it was just the first night and there are 161 more games to go. We're not getting much love from the national media but hey we didn't get much last year and look what they did then. Anywho baseball is back and I'm stoked! Happy Baseball Season and Happy Passover (starts tonight at sundown)

Up next: long awaited movie reviews
