Nearly killed a hobo

A partial diversion from anything normal.

It was another weekend, another trip to "the Lou". It started out normal enough filling up the ol' mini-van before hitting the road but that was the last of the normalcy. Usually I can do the trek with my eyes closed on autopilot good thing I didn't this time.

As soon as we began to march on the lovely stretch of road known as I-70 a hobo (bandanna bag and all) decided he wanted to cross the on ramp right while we were easing onto the freeway, barely missed him. From there we kept on driving past the throngs of people turning onto 54 wanting to binge drink their miseries away at the lake. Moving along when ooops what's that a giant ball of smoke? Couldn't be a car on fire, could it? Yep but before that a few accidents for people who couldn't quite slow down before creeping up to the awesome sight. Everyone was alright, even got their luggage out of the back before the sucker spontaneously combusted, still not something you see everyday. Almost into Hermann without another incident but nope suddenly the Dodge Ram a few cars up pulls off to the side and the "cowboy" hops out and decides to start combing the median for God knows what. Totally bizarre.
