I can always tell when it's coming close to Lent, the fast food restaurants always like to put their fish meals and sandwiches up front on their menus. I think it's amazing that the Catholic population of the U.S. can swing the private markets for the 40 days of fasting in a religous observance. Go figure! Ash Wednesday is next week so enjoy your Mardi Gras and "fat Tuesday" celebrations.
Happy Lent, what are you giving up...you giving up anything? Or are you doing something different instead?
