Once Movie Soundtrack - With music by Glen Hansard, Marketa Irglova, and Interference. With simplistic and harmonious chords of hauntingly beautiful yet cherubic songs this soundtrack and music is some of the best I've ever heard. From the Oscar winning first song "Falling Slowly" to the final "Say it to me now" the painfully optimistic songs inspire and animate the listener through whatever experiences they may have. Irglova's sweet voice has a simple elegance and a power that is gentle and rapturous. Hansard's lyrics, music and tone both galvanize a painful past and promote a better future filled with love and friendship. The truth and innocence in their music is a great relief from the falseness and fabrication of today's modern pop scene. Interference, while their contribution to the album is only one song, "Gold", insert a golden song that conquers depression and bleakness with Irish charm and magnetism. A beautifully constructed up and down soundtrack of highs and lows that ultimately inspires and mystifies a world yearning for true and sincere music and song. 5/5 Remotes
